The RockLock Magnetron is a big HMS belay carabiner that locks itself. Two magnetic gate arms snap shut around the keylock nose as soon as you let go, so there's no sleeve to remember to screw up and nothing to unscrew when you're wearing gloves. Squeeze both arms together with either hand to open it.
A curved spine keeps the gate easy to reach, and a square hinge end holds your belay loop in place so the carabiner doesn't cross-load. It's roomy enough for a Munter hitch, making it a good fit for belaying, anchors and abseiling.
