House Rules

Check in
Report to reception on every visit before you climb.

Climb down
Down climb whenever possible rather than jumping off.

Be aware of others, especially above you!
Check for climbers above, below and around you before starting, and never stand, walk or sit under someone climbing.

Walk, don't run
No running anywhere in the centre, especially on the mats and climbing structures.

Keep the mats clear
No food, drink or objects on the bouldering mats.

Appropriate footwear
Wear climbing shoes or clean indoor trainers only - please no bare feet or muddy/inappropriate footwear.

Respect concentration
Don't distract climbers or spotters, and only spot an adult if they've asked you to and you know how.

Tops on
Please keep your top on while climbing.

Report problems
Let staff know immediately about broken or spinning holds, faulty equipment or safety concerns.

Pockets and jewellery
Empty your pockets and remove jewellery before climbing to avoid injury.

No topping out (climbing over the top)
There is no topping out in the centre other than the top out boulders in kids area. Kids should use the signposted down climbs to get down from the top.

Training area
The training area and wooden training board (Carol Boarderman) are for climbers aged 18+ only, unless supervised by a qualified coach.

3-strike policy
If staff have had to offer guidance on safe behaviour more than twice, for the wellbeing of all our customers, you may be asked to leave.

Stick to the walls
Don't climb on or swing from sprinklers, lighting, beams or any ceiling fixtures.

Stay sober
Climbing under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not permitted.
Ready to Climb?
You've watched our safety video & read our house rules so you're super close to being ready...
Now all you need to do is read and fill in the acknowledgement of risk form for yourself and any minors that belong to you!
Active Supervision
Bringing younger climbers with you? We love to see families enjoying our space, please just remember we're not a soft play. Climbing can be dangerous. Please familiarise yourself with our supervision ratios and what 'active supervision' looks like in practice.
