Our Juniors Club is for beginner to intermediate climbers and aims to build climbing knowledge and skill, teach about safety when climbing and using the centre and further develop confidence and technique on the wall.
With a group size of 8, whether they're brand new to bouldering or climbing regularly, this club gives them space to develop and enjoy their climbing, with the expertise of one of our instructors.
Our Junior Clubs run weekly throughout the school term. Sessions are booked in half-termly blocks on a rolling basis, so your child gets a regular weekly slot that's theirs until they age out of the group, or wish to stop.
Each session is coached by an FBR Instructor with a focus on developing well-rounded climbing ability whilst meeting your child where they're at.
Footwork, body positioning and movement skills
Responsible climbing habits and how to move safely around the centre
How to read routes, break down moves and use movement to solve a problem
Learning to fail, and how to keep trying
We offer optional enrolment in the NICAS Bouldering Award Scheme (Levels 1–3) — a nationally recognised climbing qualification for young people. It's a fantastic way to give your child tangible goals to work towards and recognised achievements to be proud of.
