Session overview
Induction Plus+ is a relaxed, one-hour introduction to bouldering at Frome Boulder Rooms. Led by one of our experienced team members, the session covers everything you need to climb safely and start developing real technique from your very first visit. With six spots per session, you'll get plenty of personal attention in a friendly, no-pressure environment.
What you'll learn
By the end of the session you'll have a solid grounding in:
- Safety & etiquette - how we do things at FBR and how to look out for yourself and others on the wall
- Footwork - the foundation of good climbing, and the thing most beginners overlook
- Body positioning - how to use your body efficiently
- How to fall safely - building confidence by knowing what to do if you fall
Requirements
No climbing experience needed.
We suggest arriving in comfy clothes that you can move freely in.
A completed Acknowledgement of risk - you can do this on arrival or in advance online (under 18s must be registered under their parent / guardian's AOR form).
