Robusta is the old new kid on the block, and this one packs a big, yummy punch in the face. It's bursting with complex flavours and so full of body that you almost have to chew it.

Robusta has been overlooked for far too long. It's about time it's recognised for its unique qualities and the opportunities it can bring producers. As climate change makes land increasingly unsuitable for growing arabica coffee, we may find ourselves drinking more and more robusta, and with producers like Rosalinda growing tasty coffees like this one, the future doesn't look so bleak.

Rosalinda Shroeder has been involved in coffee production since she was 7 years old. It grew into a passion that has stayed with her. For years she and her husband focused exclusively on Arabica coffee, but four years ago, they decided to experiment with growing robusta on a small scale. The results were better than expected and this lot won 5th place in a local competition.

A medium roast profile brings out tasting notes of almond, dark chocolate, and nutmeg. Enjoy it best as a big chewy espresso or a full-bodied, full-flavoured filter.
